$14,000+ raised at Wheels of Expression!

Evergreen Skatepark Coalition’s first fundraiser, Wheels of Expression, was a huge success as the community smashed the goal of $10,000 and helped us haul in over $14,000. All of the 41 art decks were purchased and the ESC hats and shirts were hot items. It was so satisfying to see the art & skateboarding worlds collide and the entire community come together to support this amazing project! We want to make sure to thank our partners (Boone Mountain Sports, Evergreen Brewery and Center for the Arts Evergreen), the amazing artists who made this all happen, and the Evergreen community who showed up and graciously opened their wallets in support. Also, want to thank Liquid Death, 303 Boards, Echo Mountain, EPRD and of course Never Summer for their generous contributions towards our raffle. No one went thirsty thanks to the 200+ cans provided by Liquid Death! What a fun evening and so encouraging to see the Evergreen community show up in droves with over 200 people coming through. Grantors always want to see community support for projects, so local fundraising events like this go a long ways and can be used as match funding for large grant applications. A great start and stay tuned for more fundraising events coming this Summer!
